The Golden Tulip Arnhem Velp is a 1960s lakeside hotel, surrounded by countryside four kilometers from Arnhem. The 74 guestrooms have a modern feel with simple decor and furnishings. All include cable television with pay movies, direct dial phones, wireless Internet access, coffee/tea makers and minibars. Bathrooms have hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
The hotel offers two dining options: the Globetrotter is an English theme pub serving a variety of European and Mediterranean food in a relaxed atmosphere, and Serre is a caf� style bistro offering European and Mediterranean food, with a terrace overlooking the lake. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 100 kilometres (62 miles) from the hotel, a 60 minute drive.

There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall; approximate fare to the hotel is 100 EUR. Public buses also run regularly to Arnhem, Amsterdam and other cities.
Driving directions: From the airport head for Utrecht, then take highway A12 to Arnhem.
