The Hotel Campanile Zevenaar is a modern three storey hotel situated just 200 metres from the A12 highway on the outskirts of Zevenaar, five kilometres from the centre. All 55 guestrooms have warm blue and green decor with wooden furniture. Rooms feature complimentary trays of tea, coffee and biscuits, and are equipped with direct dial phones, cable television with pay movies and dial up Internet connections.
Guests can start the day with breakfast (surcharge) on the restaurant's outdoor terrace and enjoy Dutch and French dishes for lunch and dinner. Vegetarian and children's menus are also available. Meeting rooms equipped with audio visual equipment are available for small groups, and guests can use the nearby fitness centre to de stress after a hard day's work or alternatively enjoy a drink in the hotel bar. For those with children there is playground on site; parking is free. Sporting types can head for the tennis and squash courts just 100 metres away, or make a splash at Rhedense Lake with its array of water sports, five kilometres from the hotel. Burgers Zoo, 10 kilometres away, is also well worth a visit. The hotel is approximately 120 kilometres (74.5 miles), or a 60 minute drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza. The journey to Zevenaar takes around 100 minutes by train (change at Duivendrecht and Arnhem. Public buses also run regularly from the airport to Amsterdam and other cities.
