Location. Located on 11 acres of Florida's west coast, The Ritz Carlton, Sarasota is adjacent to the Sarasota Bay and one half mile from the 30 acre Historic Spanish Point museum. The Myakka Wildlife Tours and Ringling Center for the Cultural Arts are within four miles. Beaches are four miles away.

Overlooking the nearby marina, the Vernona Restaurant serves contemporary American cuisine such as Sage Orange Veal and roasted Myakka sturgeon, with an emphasis on organically grown ingredients.
